Lottie Moss opens up over 'not being close' to Kate and growing up 'bankrupt'

Model Lottie Moss as revealed she and supermodel sister Kate have ‘never seen eye to eye’ and how every family is ‘complicated’.

The 25-year-old celebrity poser, who is half-sisters with Kate Moss, explained that the siblings have “never been close”. She admitted that bond was distant and the “big age gap” didn’t help. Despite the pair following in the same career footsteps, they didn’t “see eye to eye”.

Lottie, who is set to appear on a dating TV show, Celebs Go Dating in the UK, shares the same dad as Kate – Pete Moss.

Her journey into fame began after she was seen as a bridesmaid at her big sister’s wedding. At the time, fashion star Kate tied the knot to Jamie Hince 12 years ago, they have since divorced.

The Hollywood star – who is never shy from baring all for her fans in sensual photos – has admitted the strain the sisters have behind close doors.

Lottie explained to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine: “Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap”.

She then went on to claim Kate never helped out the family financially after making it big.

The 25-year-old added: “I didn’t grow up with my sister giving us money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house.

“My parents were bankrupt. I paid for my private school myself with the money I made modelling”.

“We’re just not close – it is what it is”

Lottie began modelling after she was featured in American Vogue in 2011 from Kate’s wedding. Three years later, she signed with Storm Management, and her first print editorial was in the Teen version of the brand. Months later, she bagged a spread with Calvin Klein and her own Vogue cover in 2016.

By 2021, she told fans she had made an OnlyFans account and defended her decision on joining the adult subscription site. Lottie admitted she preferred being able to control creating her own content over the standard path of fashion modelling.

Opening up over the strained bond, she also said: “She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me,” while explaining Kate has her own personal battles.

Lottie has come to terms with their relationship as she’s grown up.

“Just because she’s a really high-end model, it doesn’t mean that it’s any different in our family,” she realized. “We just don’t see eye to eye on many things. I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close. It is what it is.”

Through her modelling career, TikToks and adult subscription account, she’s gained a huge following.

Lottie, who came out as pansexual, has almost 600,000 followers on Instagram. She also boasts 70,000 followers on TikTok.

However, her net worth is estimated to be a whopping $70 million, which is no small feat compared to 49-year-old sister Kate, which stands at $88 million.
